On March 3rd, 2010, I went into the Shouldice Hospital for a double hernia operation and was there for about three days. I recorded this from Maylor the day before I left. Keep in mind that I only had Maylor a little over one week when I recorded it. I told him I would be going into the hospital for an operation and that I would miss him.
By now Maylor was beginning to come out of his cage for a while each day. There were a couple of times I took him out of it and put him on my shoulder. I was surprised to find that he did not fly back to his cage and seemed perfectly at home there. After a while he began nipping at my ears. I asked him to be careful because it hurt a bit and he flew back to his cage. I will have to find out when I get back if he still nips at my ears the next time he is on my shoulder.
This is the cfearest and most easily understood recording of Maylor so far. He hardly chirped at all in it and he spoke very clear and slow in most of his talking.
